Moving Up in Frisco Without Upending the School Year: A Family Timing Guide

Frisco family planning a move to a larger home while reviewing a school calendar and neighborhood map

For families, moving up is rarely just a real estate transaction.

It is a logistics project involving a current house, a future house, financing, work schedules, sports, summer plans, children, pets, boxes and approximately 47 things nobody remembered were stored in the garage.

Then add school.

That is why I encourage Frisco move-up buyers to think about the school transition before they start falling in love with houses.

The goal is not necessarily to move during summer. The goal is to create a plan in which the housing decision, school transition and family’s daily life work together.
