Moving in Frisco After 65? Don’t Forget to Move Your Social Life, Too

Older Frisco homeowner sharing coffee with friends at a sunny neighborhood gathering space

When someone tells me they’re thinking about leaving a longtime home, the conversation usually starts with the house. Too many rooms. Too much yard. A staircase that seems to get steeper every year.

Those are real concerns. But after we discuss the floor plan, I like to ask another question: Who will you see on an ordinary Wednesday?

Because a home isn’t just a building. It’s also the familiar wave from a neighbor, the person you meet for coffee, the friend who notices you missed your usual walk, and the places where people know your name.

If you’re considering a move within Frisco after 65, I want you to think about your social life as carefully as your square footage. You don’t need to become the busiest person in town. You do need a plan for connection.
